Purpose and lawful basis for processing
Personal data will be processed for the purposes of facilitating the BETA phase of the Innovation Advice service. The BETA phase will test the service design considerations involved in implementing a direct advice service for organisations that are innovating with the use of personal data.
We are relying article on Article 6(1)(e) (public task) of the UK GDPR to process the personal data.
What we need
We will process your name, email address and any other contact details you provide.
We may publish your question on our website, as well as our answer, but these will not contain any personal data.
What we do with it
We’ll use your name and contact details to engage with you as part of the Innovation Advice service BETA phase.
How long we keep it
The ICO will keep the data you provide for 6 years in accordance with our Retention and Disposal schedule.
